The 3DS is back to the top of the charts in Japan, but the Wii U sales continue to fail to live up to expectations. This happens after the 3DS was finally beaten by the PS Vita in the Japanese charts last week. However, the Wii U sold just under half the amounts of units that the PS3 sold. You can see the charts below:

  1. 3DS XL (LL) – 47,985 (39,801)
  2. Vita – 36,028 (63,581)
  3. 3DS – 21,454 (21,207)
  4. PS3 – 20,676 (19,567)
  5. PSP – 12,721 (18,023)
  6. Wii U – 9,539 (9,454)
  7. Wii – 1,323 (1,363)
  8. Xbox 360 – 543 (783)
