In the latest issue of the U.K’s Official Nintendo Magazine, it was revealed only 5 games currently allow you to play entirely on the GamePad. This is despite the fact this was one of the consoles main selling points at E3 2011. The article read:

“A key part of Wii U’s 2011 reveal, the option to play entirely on the GamePad has been adopted by very few titles. It’s currently announced just five games: New Super Mario Bros. U, Mass Effect 3, Trine 2, Scribblenauts Unlimited and Sonic & Sega All Star Racers Transformed.”

ONM did later mention that it is easy for developers to make their games run entirely on the GamePad. The article read:

“As Darksiders II producer, Ryan Stefanelli, told us, “It took about 5 minutes and two lines of code, and boom! – there was the entire game running on the controller. Amazing.”

Is this a problem to be concerned about? Will it effect you decision or do you not care about this decision? Comment below or reply to the Twitter post to tell us your thoughts on the matter.
